Queen's Young Leaders Award

Salman Ahmad (President, GADE Foundation) has received “The Queen’s Young Leaders” award for 2015. His achievements were recognized when he collected his award from Her Majesty The Queen at a ceremony held at the Buckingham Palace on 22nd June, 2015. The Queen's Young Leader Award recognises and celebrates exceptional people aged 18-29 from across the Commonwealth, who are taking the lead in their communities and using their skills to transform lives.

“It is not merely an award for me; it is the recognition of the fact that millions of young people are stuck into vicious circle of unemployment. Moreover, it is global admiration of my belief, that we cannot change the destiny of poor community by donation, unless we teach ways of wealth creation” he says. Providing a global platform for young entrepreneurs is now a priority for Salman and he plans to continue his work through research and campaigning for international entrepreneurship as source of sustainable development in poor countries.
